Loudonville/Perrysville Community Support Awards
September 26, 2012 - Loudonville/Perrysville Community Support Awards presented by Samaritan Hospital Foundation
Two Loudonville-Perrysville organizations were selected to receive Community Support Awards from Samaritan Hospital Foundation.
The Village of Loudonville received a $2,500 Loudonville-Perrysville Community Support Award from Samaritan Hospital Foundation to assist with improvements at the Loudonville Swimming Pool. The awarded funds will be used to replace the dual chlorinating pumps for the swimming pool and to assist with construction of an improved sand volleyball court. Curtis Young, Village Administrator, received the check from Bev Spreng, Development Director at Samaritan Hospital Foundation and Becky Augustine, L/P Community Support Awards selection committee member.
The newly formed Community Help Mission was also selected to receive a $2,500 Loudonville-Perrysville Community Support Award. The funds will be used to assist clients with emergency medical needs. The Community Help Mission exists to assist Loundonville-Perrysville residents (who meet eligibility criteria) in emergency situations. Program Director, Diane Geiselman, Pastor Pat Reiter, office coordinator, and Karen McClure, treasurer for the organization were on hand to receive the check from Bev Spreng and Becky Augustine.
