The Samaritan Hospital Foundation's Annual Giving Club Meeting

The Samaritan Hospital Foundation’s Annual Giving Clubs met Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital. 

Richard Beal, President of Samaritan Hospital Foundation greeted the thirty four members of Samaritan Hospital Foundation’s Annual Giving Clubs in attendance at the annual meeting held September 5^th at Samaritan Hospital.  President and CEO of SRHS, Danny Boggs, presented an update on progress and improvements made at, future plans for, and challenges faced by Samaritan Regional Health System.   Beverly Spreng, Development Director of Samaritan Hospital Foundation reviewed the Foundation’s activities of the past year including the hiring of Jerry Seiter, who will be serving as the Major Gifts Officer for SHFoundation.    Mona Campbell, SHFoundation Office Manager reviewed the Club’s financial report and facilitated the voting on equipment to be purchased for the hospital with the club’s $15,000 of accumulated dues.   Five different departments at Samaritan Hospital were selected to receive new equipment.  Melissa Winfield, Director of the new Birthing and Women’s Unit, guided the members present on a tour of the new Birthing and Women’s Unit.
