Samaritan Club Meeting
Samaritans Annual Giving Club is an organization of over 100 community members, just like you, dedicated to promoting and improving Samaritan Hospital and our ability to care for patients and their families.
Faithful annual gifts help keep our hospital strong and help Samaritan grow and improve each year!
The Samaritans Annual Giving Club was formed in 1983 and offers community members the opportunity to contribute annually, through club dues, to the purchase of new equipment (which they get to select from the list of needs). We have over 100 members in the group which meets once a year. Club members met July 21, 2011 in the East Tower Conference Room at 4:30 for appetizers, an update provided by Dr. Phil Myers on what’s new and happening at SRHS, and a tour of the Birthing & Women’s Unit construction on the 4th floor.
The group voted to purchase a new BiPaP machine for Pulmonary Rehab, a Vital Signs Monitor for the Emergency Department and several new patient and guest chairs for the patient rooms in the Med/Surg/Peds Unit.
Becoming a member of the Samaritan’s Club is a great way to stay connected with and informed about your community hospital. Dues are $100 per year for an individual, $200 for a couple and $300 for a business. Contact Mona Campbell at the SHFoundation office, 419-207-7900, for membership information.
